Blue Bell Ice Cream Announces Return To Arkansas

BRENHAM, TEXAS (KFSM) — Blue Bell Ice Cream has announced a return to The Natural State.

According to a press release, Blue Bell stated it would begin service to Little Rock, Ark., as well as El Paso, Texas, and Memphis, Tenn., and their surrounding areas on Jan. 11, 2016.

“We are excited to announce this bonus phase and return to these three markets as we begin 2016,” Ricky Dickson, vice president of sales and marketing for Blue Bell, said in the release. “We continue to make good progress in our three production facilities.  This has allowed us to increase our production capacity and build enough inventory to properly service these areas sooner than expected.”

Blue Bell also stated it would bring back 55 employees who were put on paid furlough earlier in 2015, the release stated.

The release states the following Arkansas cities will be serviced:

  • Blytheville
  • Bryant
  • Cabot
  • Conway
  • Fayetteville
  • Fort Smith
  • Helena
  • Hope

  • North Little Rock
  • Paragould
  • Pine Bluff
  • Rogers
  • Russellville
  • Searcy
  • Sherwood
  • Springdale
