(KFSM) — The U.S. Postal Service has announced that select post offices in northwest Arkansas and the River Valley will open for retail business on Sunday (Dec. 20).
In a press release, Arkansas district manager David Camp said customers should deposit their mail in the blue mail boxes as soon as possible this holiday season.
The release announced the following locations will operate from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m.
- Bentonville Post Office, 1706 S Walton Blvd, Bentonville, AR 72712
- Fayetteville Craft Station, 1590 E Joyce Blvd., Fayetteville, AR 72703
- Fort Smith Post Office, 3318 74th St, Fort Smith, AR 72903
- Rogers Post Office, 401 N 8th St., Rogers, AR 72756
- Springdale Post Office, 2811 Springdale Dr., Springdale, AR 72764
For expected delivery of holiday mail and packages by Christmas, the Postal Service recommends keeping the following domestic mailing and shipping deadlines in mind:
- Dec. 15 – Standard Post
- Dec. 19 – First Class (cards and letters)
- Dec. 21 – Priority Mail
- Dec. 23 – Priority Mail Express
