BENTONVILLE (KFSM) -- A woman who was hit by a Bentonville school bus three years ago received a $35,000 settlement after suing the district's insurance company.
Megan Davis, who was 17 when she was hit, sustained broken bones and a brain injury when she was hit by the bus while crossing a busy street. She had several surgeries following the accident.
In November, Davis filed a lawsuit against the school's insurance carrier. The school district itself was left out of the suit, however, because of Arkansas state law.
