FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) — A Rogers Man was sentenced to spend 12 and a half years in a federal prison for drug trafficking charges on Thursday (Dec. 17).

In addition to the 150 month prison sentence, Juan Valenzuela, 41, must pay a $2,800 fine and spend three years of supervised release, according to a Department of Justice press release.

Valenzuela was charged with one count of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, one count of distribution of methamphetamine, the release states. Two charges of distribution of more than 50 grams of methamphetamine were dismissed during sentencing.

Valenzuela was found guilty after a two-day trial in July 2015, according to the release.
