CLARKSVILLE (KFSM)--A man in his early-30s is dead after a stabbing in Clarksville, according to police.

A release states a patrolman with the Clarksville Police Department observed a disturbance in the front yard of a home in the 200 block of North Rogers Street at around 8:30 p.m. Saturday (Dec. 19).

The officer spoke to the people in the yard and was advised a man had been stabbed and was unresponsive, according to Larry Boggs with the Clarksville Police Department. The officer performed CPR on the unresponsive man until EMS arrived. The victim was transported to Johnson County Regional Medical center, where he was pronounced dead.

The identity of the victim is not being released at this time.

The suspect wanted for questioning is Reinier Milanes Barreras described as a heavy-set man in his late 30s.

Police believe he may be driving a black 2012 Ford Taurus with a Kentucky license plate displayed, similar to the car pictured below.
