FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – Three people are arrested Thursday (Dec. 24) after a police pursuit in Fayetteville.
Police said it started as routine traffic stop along Interstate 49 near the 66 mile marker, but the suspect fled. Police said they chased the car through the city and had to ram into the car to get it to stop.
The pursuit ended at Cornerstone Place in Fayetteville when the the driver, Justin T. White, fled on foot for a short distance. White was tased and taken into custody, police said.
Two backseat passengers were also arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.
All three were transported to the Washington County Jail. No injuries were reported.
