Bentonville Police Pursuit Leads To Recovery Of Stolen Pickup

BENTONVILLE (KFSM) — A Bentonville police chase on Wednesday (Jan. 13) ended with the recovery a stolen pickup from the Farmington area.

Bentonville officers spotted a pickup truck displaying a fake license plate travelling west on SE 14th Street, according to a department press release. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, which led to a pursuit that ended near 1700 Bean Road.

The driver of the truck, a white male, stopped the vehicle and took off on foot, the release states. Police and K-9 officers were unable to locate the driver.

The truck was later confirmed as being stolen from the Farmington Police Department, according to the release.

Police are continuing to investigate the incident and believe an arrest will come soon.
