MAJOR COUNTY, Okla. (KWTV) — A 4.2-magnitude earthquake was reported Tuesday in northwest Oklahoma, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The earthquake happened at 2:45 p.m. Tuesday. Its epicenter was about 18 miles northwest of Fairview, 39 miles east of Woodward, 44 miles west of Enid and 95 miles northwest of Oklahoma City.
The earthquake was less than two miles deep.
No immediate reports of damage or injury were reported.
