ESPNU To Air Bentonville Game On Friday

BENTONVILLLE (KFSM) — For the first time in Arkansas high school athletics, ESPNU will be nationally televising an Arkansas high school game this Friday (Jan. 22), when the Bentonville boys’ basketball team takes on El Dorado.

Two highly recruited players will also be facing off on the court, Bentonville’s 6′ 3″ guard Malik Monk and El Dorado’s 6′ 10″ forward Daniel Gafford, according to a press release. Monk has signed a letter of intent to play at the University of Kentucky. Gafford has verbally committed to the University of Arkansas.

Gates will open at 3 p.m. for season ticket holders and 3:30 for general admission, the release states.  Tipoff will be at 4:30 p.m. in Tiger Arena in Bentonville High School.
