LEFLORE COUNTY (KFSM) — A 17-year-old girl has been charged with first-degree murder, according to the Leflore Couny Sheriff’s Office.
Sheriff Rob Seale said Brittney Nicole Orand will be charged as an adult in the shooting of Goldie Long.
Seale said the charge is first-degree murder and deliberate intent. Orand is being held without bond and will appear in court in February.
The sheriff stated that the alleged crime is punishable by death, imprisonment for life or imprisonment for life without parole.
