Sequoyah County Sheriff’s Department Searches For Armed Robbery Suspect

SEQUOYAH COUNTY (KFSM) — The sheriff’s department is looking for a man who allegedly entered the Outer Zone store west of Moffett, Okla. with a firearm and demanded an undisclosed amount of cash.

According to Sheriff Ron Lockhart, the male suspect is described as 6-feet, 200 pounds and wearing dark clothing around his face. The sheriff’s office is looking for a blue station wagon (pictured below).

The Outer Zone store is located on U.S. Highway 64, just south of Roland. Investigators were retrieving video of the scene.

If anyone was passing by that location around 4:25 p.m. and observed anything suspicious,  contact the Sequoyah County Sheriff Department at (918) 775-9156.
