EUREKA SPRINGS (KFSM) -- Bands from all over Arkansas and surrounding states will be gathering in Eureka Springs starting Thursday night (Jan. 21), for a festival that goes through the weekend.
The winter season isn't the usual time for a music festival -- but that's the point of the Ozark Mountain Music festival in Eureka Springs.
The historic Basin Park Hotel is at the heart of the festival, with three different rooms reserved for performances.
However, a lot of local businesses have been worried that the cold weather and icy roads will prevent people from making the trip to Eureka Springs.
"It's started off poorly with the weather, of course, and a lot of shops are closed due to that," said Janet Fyhrie, who co-owns the coffee shop Eureka Daily Roast.
Tickets are limited to the first 250 people.
