FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) -- Razorback Athletics is turning to the University of Arkansas Board of Trustees this week to get approval for the renovation of Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

If the board of trustees approves the renovation, athletics would add an addition to the north end of the stadium, along with updating the existing stadium and adding a new Broyles Athletic Center, according to a press release. The preliminary cost for the project is estimated at $160 million.

Pending approval, the northern addition will add new suites, loge boxes, club seats and club areas, and the addition will connect to the east and west concourses, the release states. The football team will also gain a new gameday locker room, training room and pre/post game support rooms.

The Frank Broyles Athletic Center would be rebuilt in the north end, although it will continue housing the ticket and administrative offices.

Stadium updates would include new elevators, club areas and upper level seating, along with renovations for the existing suites and club areas. A new video board would also be added to the south end of the stadium.
