ECUADOR — A lost sloth in Ecuador had to get a little extra help crossing the road last Friday.

The Transit Department of Ecuador stepped in to perform what might be the cutest rescue mission, saving the seemingly good-natured sloth who got stuck while crossing a highway.

The smiling sloth was clinging to the pole of a traffic barrier when the transit department saved the hairy mammal. They took the sloth to a veterinarian, who deemed the animal was fit to return to it’s habitat.
