A weak disturbance will move into the area late Friday night and into Saturday.

Moisture is lacking but there’s a chance we could see a few spotty areas of light snow or light rain as it arrives on Saturday morning.

Temperatures on Saturday afternoon will be in the 50s and no widespread travel impacts are expected.

The ripple in the atmosphere is moving from Oklahoma into Arkansas which should generate enough lift for at least cloudy skies early Saturday with the potential for some light precipitation to develop.

6am Saturday: You can see the dark shading near the blue freezing lines across our area.

This area should exit the state quickly with little in the way of accumulation (either rain or snow).

Beyond the weekend, another cold blast arrives on Monday into Tuesday of next week with colder than normal weather arriving again. Likely temperatures in the 30s with lows in the 20s.
