Police Recaptured Dallas County Murder Suspect

DALLAS COUNTY — A prisoner who escaped from the Dallas County Jail on Sunday has been recaptured.

Paul Grice, 38, escaped just after midnight on Sunday, prompting a manhunt across southern Arkansas, according to THV11. Authorities from Dallas County, Bradley County and Drew County, along with local police and the ADC were looking for him.

Authorities also arrested a woman, Stephanie Smith of Fordyce, who is facing charges of aid and abetting, THV11 reported.

Grice was in the Dallas County Jail waiting for bed space in prison.
