OXFORD, MISS. (KFSM) – An early lead in the first half couldn’t save the Arkansas men’s basketball team as they drop another game in the state of Mississippi this week, this time with a 76-60 loss to Ole Miss.

The Razorbacks stayed on top the majority of the first half, at one point holding an 11 point lead. But, shots just couldn’t seem to fall. Arkansas’ leading scorer Dusty Hannahs was held scoreless today who was 0-4. Moses Kingsley did come away with another double-double game with 19 points and 13 rebounds. Behind him was Anthlon Bell with 16 points and one rebound.

Arkansas was also beat off the boards. Ole Miss out rebounded the Hogs 47-29, which was also a difference maker in the game.

Five rebels scored 10 points or more, including the SEC leading scorer Stefan Moody who had 17.  Arkansas was able to hold Moody below his scoring average of 23.3 points per game. Moody was 4-17 from the field, and 0-7 from three-point range.

The road wasn’t kind yet again to Arkansas who is now 1-10 away from Bud Walton Arena. The Hogs are 5-7 in conference and 12-13 overall.

They’ll return home to host Auburn on Wednesday with a 6 p.m. tip-off.
