BARLING (KFSM) — According to Barling Police, two children were located after they were abducted near Barling Elementary on Thursday afternoon (Feb. 25).

Police said the children’s mother and her boyfriend were questioned as the adults in the vehicle.

The mother, Rachel Rowe, 28, was arrested and remains behind bars on a $1,500 bond, according to Barling Police Chief Darell Miner. She had planned to take her children back home to Texas without telling their father, of whose custody they were in.

The children were students of Barling Elementary.
