BENTONVILLE (KFSM) -- The Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport outlined some guidelines ahead of Donald Trump's airport rally on Saturday (Feb. 27).

Airport officials are anticipating nearly 8,500 will be heading to hear the presidential hopeful speak at XNA. Although the event is free, people will still need tickets to attend the event, which can be found here.

With such a large crowd expected, airport officials said the rally will be held at the Regional Jet Center Hanger, instead of the terminal.

People will be standing on concrete outside, so XNA director Kelly Johnson is encouraging visitors to come prepared.

"There's not going to be any seating, so think about that when you dress to come out to the event," she said.

Everyone will need to pass through security before the event. Screening will begin at 9 a.m.

"There will be seven stations set up and you'll go through a metal detector," Johnson said. "Don't bring bottles of water, don't bring your pocket knife don't bring a lawn chair. That's not going to be allowed."

Limited parking will be available, so carpooling is encouraged. Parking will be directed to Lot 1 first, followed by Lot 2. After both of those are filled, drivers will be directed to Overflow Lot 3.

"We've got three fields set up there so you will be parking in the field," Johnson said. "It's not a great place to try to park thousands of people. Carpool if you can because once the parking is gone, it is gone."

All passengers with Saturday morning flights are encouraged to arrive two hours before their flights are scheduled to depart.

"There are only about 700 people traveling until noon, so we encourage those folks to please look at your travel plans and adjust your drive time in the event that we do have a back up," Johnson said.  "We saw that happen the last time we did one of these, with Bush."

The rally is expected to last an hour.
