FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) -- People in Northwest Arkansas now have another place to buy their groceries after Whole Foods opened its second location in the Natural State.

The team has been getting ready for opening day for a while now. We caught up with them yesterday as they were re-stocking the shelves following their sneak peak preview party Monday night. They said Whole Foods is all about bringing fresh and quality products into the community since they were the first organic certified grocery store in the country.

That means everything you see on the shelves is free of preservatives, colors and unnatural sweeteners and flavors. The store is also another outlet for local products -- including fruit,  coffee, body products and beer, which is on tap at the bar, along with wine by the glass and board games.

Shana Wyban was the first customer in line Wednesday morning to win a Whole Foods gift card.

"We've been counting down the days, and my daughter and I stayed up all night and we actually drove by here at 2:30 in the morning just to see if anyone was here." Wyban said, "We've been scouting it for a while."

Another shopper, Ben Cashion, said he's looking to shop more their because of Whole Food's unique selection.

"There's health benefits," Cashion said. "Our son has food allergies, and they've got a lot of great options for avoiding those pesky food allergies."

The store is expected to generate a lot of traffic in the area of College Avenue and Milsap Road. That's why a new traffic light was installed last year, to keep everyone safe as they travel near the whole foods shopping plaza.
