Another day, another chance for showers on Wednesday.
Locally dense fog may develop in between rounds of rain and might be most widespread the next few mornings. A dense fog advisory is in effect.
Here are the need-to-knows:
- Very heavy rain Wed morning into early afternoon
- Low severe risk
- Flash flooding risk elevated; breaks in the rain have helped drainage
This is the upper low causing all of the rain. It’s spinning counter-clockwise across the southeast and we’re seeing disturbances move off of that low and cause numerous rounds of rain.
Here’s the timeline
6am: Expect the rain to become more widespread again as the storms lift from the south to the north.
Noon: Most of the heavier rain will be shifting east; scattered rain expected to continue.
6pm: Spotty showers will continue but the intensity will be less than the morning round.
