Home Destroyed, Several Damaged After Possible Tornado In Evansville

EVANSVILLE (KFSM) – At least seven homes were damaged Wednesday (March 23) night as severe storms hit the area, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s office said one of the homes was destroyed by the possible tornado.

Some of the damaged homes are located on Ray Road. No one was seriously injured, according to the Sheriff’s office. However, one person did report minor cuts.

The American Red Cross has set up an temporary shelter for those who were displaced at the Evansville Fire Department, said the Sheriff’s office.
