Woman Photographs Tulsa Tornado Mid-Flight

TULSA, Okla. (KFSM) — A woman snapped incredible photos of the tornado that ran through Tulsa Wednesday night (March 30) — from above.

Tina Strickland boarded her Southwest flight to the sound of tornado sirens, she told News On 6. Shortly after they were airborne, she looked out the window and spotted the tornado on the ground and snapped the pictures.

Strickland’s flight to Dallas was scheduled to leave from Tulsa at 4:35 p.m., but was pushed back to nearly 7 p.m.¬†She said a girl behind her refused to board the plane.

She told News On 6 that she saw the tornado on the ground just west of the Tulsa airport.
