ASP: Fayetteville Man Found Dead Along I-30

NORTH LITTLE ROCK (KTHV) – A man’s body was found along Interstate 30 Monday night.

According to Arkansas State Police spokesperson Bill Sadler, John David Widener, 69, of Fayetteville, was found dead on the westbound lane at Curtis Sykes Drive in North Little Rock.

An initial report indicated that he had multiple injuries when found.

No suspect vehicle has been located, and no witnesses saw the collision.

Widener’s body was taken to the Arkansas State Crime Lab for autopsy.
