Writing By Hand Makes You Smarter

Laptops and organizer apps make pen and paper seem antique. However, new research showed that writing things by hand could actually make you smarter.

A recent Princeton University study showed that students who take handwritten notes in class generally outperform students who type their notes via computer or tablet.

Recent research also showed those who write things longhand learned the material better, retained the information for a longer amount of time, and had a better grip on the concepts presented, even days later.
