FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) — The City of Fayetteville released their April schedule for spring waste removal.

The Spring Bulky Waste Clean-Ups give residents a chance to get rid of large bulky waste, including furniture, floor coverings, fixtures and appliances, large tools and limited amounts of drywall and paneling.

Normal household trash won’t be accepted, although electronic waste can be taken to the Happy Hollow location.

The first bulky waste clean up will be held on Saturday, April 16 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Shaver Foods on South Beechwood Avenue and the Recycling and Trash Facility on South Happy Hollow Road.

The second will be Saturday, May 7 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.  at the Church of Christ on West Center Street and the Recycling and Trash Facility on South Happy Hollow Road.

For more information about recycling, waste removal, and compost and mulch distribution, visit the city’s website here.
