One Hospitalized After Semis Crash Overnight Near Chester

CRAWFORD COUNTY (KFSM) — One person has been hospitalized after two semis collided on I-49 near Chester early Friday (April 8).

Arkansas State Police said both northbound lanes had reopened, after temporarily narrowing traffic to one lane earlier in the morning.

Dispatchers said one of the semis was driving up a northbound hill when he was rear-ended by another semi around 12:30 a.m. Officers said the driver was hospitalized for minor injuries.
