OKLAHOMA (KFSM) — Crews found the body of an Oklahoma man on Monday morning (April 11) in Fort Gibson Lake in Cherokee County.
Samuel Howe, 51, of Hulbert, Oklahoma was found by crews just after 7 a.m. He was about 60 yards from the Wildwood boat ramp. He was not wearing a life jacket.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol said officers found the man’s boat abandoned on the water in the Wildwood area, just above the dam on Sunday (April 10).
