Man In Custody After Shooting Near Russellville Daycare; No Injuries Reported

RUSSELLVILLE (KFSM) — A man turned himself into police on Tuesday (April 12) following a shooting report near a daycare.

Police stated that there were no injuries, but the daycare had gone into a temporary lockdown. The daycare, which was not identified in a police report, has since resumed normal activities.

Jahseryn Romeris Manly, 33, was arrested on suspicion of committing a terroristic act, after police stated that he shot a firearm toward a residence while driving by in a maroon Toyota Camry. The shooting was reported near the 1000 block of East M Street around 9 a.m.

He has been booked into the Pope County Detention Center.
