TONTITOWN (KFSM) — Tontitown police identified two people who were killed Tuesday (April 12) in a collision involving a passenger car and semi-truck on Highway 412.

The highway was shut down at Pianalto Road just after 3 p.m. in both the east and westbound directions and didn’t completely reopen until 10 p.m. Police said the investigation is on-going.

Donna Clark, the driver of the 2013 Jaguar passenger car, and her passenger, Leroy Clark, were pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. The other vehicle involved was a Peterbuilt semi pulling a large construction dump truck. Police said the semi was going eastbound and the passenger car was going westbound when Clark pulled in front of the truck to go southbound on Pianalto Road.

A 5NEWS crew at the scene reported the passenger vehicle was mangled and appeared to have caught on fire.
