Arvest Bank is more than halfway to their goal of raising one million meals, but they still need your help.
Daren Bobb was joined by Beth Presley, Arvest marketing director, to discuss Arvest's sixth annual One Million Meals Campaign.
The goal is to raise the meals to give to food partners in the four-state area that Arvest serves.
The campaign started on April 1 and ends on May 31. The program was moved to spring so that it would coincide with the summer months, when children are more likely to go hungry because they aren't getting school lunches.
Next Friday will be Arvest's Skip A Lunch drive, where they encourage people to donate the money they would spend on lunch to the million meals campaign. Each dollar that is donated is equal to five meals.
Anyone can donate to the campaign. Simply bring money or non-perishable food items to any Arvest branch.
