PUSHMATAHA COUNTY (KFSM) — The bodies of two brothers have been recovered, after they were reported missing on Saturday (May 7).
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Dustin Panisiak, 21, had attempted to wade across the Kiamichi River to the other side, when he stopped off a shoal and went under the water.
His younger brother Daniel, 17, went into the water to rescue Dustin, but neither resurfaced.
The bodies were found at 7 p.m. on Tuesday (May 10), eight miles west of Albion, according to OHP.
