BENTONVILLE (KFSM) — A man who was accused of exposing himself to Bentonville schoolchildren was arrested Wednesday night (May 11) in Missouri.

Raymond Adair, 57, of Noel, Missouri was arrested around 9:30 p.m. in his home, according to a Bentonville Police Department press release. He is facing two counts of sexual indecency with a child, which is a class D felony.

Using images from the Bentonville School District bus camera system, officers were able to identify Adair and have a judge issue a warrant for his arrest.

He was taken into custody and was taken to McDonald County Detention Center, where he will wait until he is extradited to Benton County Jail.

On Monday (May 9), two children said they were walking home from school along Magnolia Drive when a man in a white car pulled up next to them and asked if they had ever seen male genitalia before, according to a department release.

The children ran home and told their father, who reported the incident to police.

While officers were still at the scene, they got the second report of the man asking another child the same question near NW LaSalle Street.
