HACKETT (KFSM) — A registered level 3 sex offender was arrest Friday (May 27) following a brief standoff with authorities, according to the Sebastian County Sheriff’s Office.

Around 8:30 a.m. deputies responded to a call in the 2700 block of Highway 10 near Hackett where a homeowner witnessed a man break into their RV, the sheriff’s office said.

The man was later identified as Jonathan Dooley, 27, of Cameron, Oklahoma.

An hour-long standoff between Dooley and deputies ensued when he refused to cooperate, according to the sheriff’s office. Authorities had to enter the RV and arrested Dooley after a brief struggle, the sheriff’s office said.

Dooley is a registered sex offender in LeFlore County, according to the sheriff’s office.
