No Injuries Reported In Huntsville Apartment Fire

HUNTSVILLE (KFSM)--No injuries were reported after an apartment complex caught fire early Saturday morning (June 11).

It happened around 2:30 a.m. at the Ridgeway Apartments, a Section 8 property,  in Huntsville, according the Madison County Sheriff's Office. The fire traveled from one building to another causing the loss of two structures, according to emergency management.

The Huntsville Fire Department, Huntsville Police Department and fire departments with several local jurisdictions responded to the scene, according to a release.

An estimated 12 families are displaced and many of them have children, according to the Tracy McMillen with the American Red Cross. The Red Cross has a crew helping those affected by the fire.

Donations can be given to Ridgeway Apartment management.
