FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM)- There is a lot of questions surrounding Arkansas’ offensive line this upcoming season, but Thursday the Hogs got an experienced addition to their offensive line. Texas graduate Jake Raulerson announced via Twitter that he would be pursuing his Masters in Business Administration at the University of Arkansas while playing for the Razorbacks.

Arkansas confirmed Friday that Raulerson would be transferring to the University. Raulerson, a graduate from Texas, has two years left of eligibility left starting this fall to play college football.

Raulerson started in five games, four as a center, for the Longhorns in 2014 as a redshirt freshman. He was also a four-star recruit out of Celina, Texas High in the 2013 signing class. Raulerson first announced that he would be transferring to UCLA, but due to being denied admission into the MBA and Masters in Applied Economics programs at Westwood he decided to seek other schooling options.

With Arkansas losing three starting offensive linemen from their roster Raulerson, who has played center and right tackle, should be a big asset to the Hogs with his versatility. Arkansas’ offensive line is well-known for their size and the Texas transfer who is 6-foot-4 295 lbs. will surely fit in with the guys upfront.
