Noland Talks Commitment To Play Two Sports For Razorbacks

Class of 2018 recruit commits to play for both Bielema and Van Horn

GREENWOOD (KFSM) - Two sport athletes are rare in the SEC but Greenwood's Connor Noland plans to play both football and baseball at Arkansas.

The class of 2018 recruit committed to the Razorbacks via Twitter on Wednesday.

"I always thought it would be one or another. but obviously it's a blessing to be able to play both," Noland said. "You know I have just been trying to go around and find the right school for me I went all across the country and really tried to find the right place for me and I think I have done that."

Noland threw for 872 yards and nine touchdowns while completing 73-of-107 passes as a sophomore as he split time at quarterback with Luke Hales at Greenwood. Noland added 431 yards rushing with four more scores.

The junior is ranked as the No. 11 pro-style quarterback in the 2018 class by 247sports while he is the 20th ranked right handed pitcher in his class by Perfect Game. Noland currently has a fastball in the low 90s.

Noland had offers from UCLA, Missouri, Penn State, Texas A&M and many others.
