The entire State of Arkansas is under a Heat Advisory as temperatures climb into the upper 90s with high humidity increasing the heat index from 104-112º.

The Heat Index is a measure of temperature and humidity. The heat index is calculated for conditions in the shade with light wind.

Direct sunshine can increase the Heat Index as much as +15º!



The heat will continue into the weekend with the Midwest and the South experiencing some of the worst conditions.
