SPRINGDALE (KFSM) -- The Antique Festival of The Ozarks is in full swing at the Springdale Convention center.

Organizers said more than 70 antique dealers will be at the festival this weekend.

Venders, some who have attended the festival for years, said they believe in using the same items their families used for generations. The items date between the 1800s and the 1960s. Many vendors find their items by searching at auctions, flea markets, garage sales and even through family and friends.

The antique show will cover a variety of items, including antique jewelry, glass, pottery and linens.

"It used to be hard to let go, but to know that it's spreading generation to generation what was in the past it makes me happy," Brenda Becker, a 25-year antiques seller. " I like to see a cheerful buyer."

Admission is $6 and children under 8 get in for free. The event will go till Sunday (July 24).
