SPRINGDALE (KFSM) — A Springdale man was arrested Saturday (July 23) after allegedly kidnapping 21-year-old female, Dalila Jimenez.

David Guerin, 31, is facing charges of kidnapping, third degree domestic battery, terroristic threatening, and second degree domestic assault, according to a Springdale Police Department press release.

Police responded to a call where a female stated “he is going to kill me” and asked for help. They were unable to find the source of the call at that time.

They later met with the family of Dalila Jimenez and through investigation it was determined that Jimenez was possibly being held against her will.

Jimenez later contacted police and gave her location in the bathroom of a Bentonville pawn shop. Officers with the Bentonville Police Department were able to stop their vehicle at the request of the Springdale Police Department.

After interviewing with police it was determined that Guerin held Jimenez against her will. Guerin’s bond was set at $50,000.
