LOWELL (KFSM) — Firefighters are working to contain a fire that engulfed an abandoned home in Lowell on Monday morning (July 25).

The home, on Honesuckle Road,  was set to be demolished and crews were working to clean up the area Monday morning. They started burning brush on the property, which got out of hand and set the home on fire around 10 a.m.
