During this week's Flavor of the Week, Melissa Hall headed to Vanzant Fruit Farms in Lowell to get some fresh fruit and homegrown goodies.
Although it is a fruit mart, Vanzant's has a wide variety of fresh products and canned goods.
She met with Fred and Steve Vanzant, who told her about the business, which has been growing strong for 66 years.
They grow 23 varieties of peaches, as well as other fruits, and nearly everything they sell comes from their own farms. They also have a few seasonal items grown by local farmers.
In addition to being homemade, they pride themselves in providing foods that are all natural.
Every fall, Vanzant's has a pumpkin fest, which is a perfect family activity.
