Fourth Suspect Arrested In Franklin County Child Sex Ring
FRANKLIN COUNTY (KFSM) — A fourth suspect accused of being part of a sex ring involving minors was arrested Thursday (July 28), the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office said.
John Larry Dalton Davis, 20, was arrested on suspicion of transporting a minor for sexual conduct and sexual indecency with a child, according to the sheriff’s office.
A third suspect, Weston Bailey, 20, was arrested Wednesday in Van Buren and transported to the Franklin County jail. He was wanted on suspicion of sexual indecency with a child, the sheriff’s office said.
A fifth suspect, Cory Bryant Oxford, 25, is still wanted on suspicion of rape and transportation of a minor for sexual conduct, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.
Two other men were arrested July 25.
During the course of a two-month-long investigation by the sheriff’s office and the Mulberry Police Department, authorities discovered that three minors had been transported to the home of Michael Ray Roe, 60, in Franklin County from Mulberry where the suspects engaged in various forms of sexual contact with the victims, the sheriff’s office said.
Roe and Dillion Wayne Harrison, 19, have been arrested, according to the sheriff’s office. Roe is facing charges of rape, transportation of a minor for sexual conduct and fourth-degree sexual assault. Harrison is facing charges of transportation of a minor for sexual conduct and sexual indecency with a child, authorities said.
Records show Roe is a registered level three sex offender following a 2001 arrest on child pornography charges.
Roe was also arrested in April on 12 counts of sexual assault involving minors, according to court records.
