SPRINGDALE (KFSM) — A Springdale man was arrested Monday (July 25) after he injured his wife by running over her with a tractor, according to an arrest report from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office.
Greenley Ryan Phillips, 43, is facing charges of first-degree domestic battering and violating probation or suspended sentence, according to jail records. His bond was set at $15,000.
Phillips was arrested following an altercation with his wife around 1 a.m. on Sunday at their home on Butler Ford Road, according to Phillips’ arrest report.
His wife was left with a fractured mandible and skull, a laceration that was six inches long and four inches wide that exposed her muscle and tendons, a laceration on her lower lip from corner to corner, and a laceration and possible damage to her left eye, the report states.
The victim stated Phillips had run her over with a tractor and then physically attacked her, according to the report.
Investigators also found Phillips waited six hours before calling for medical help for his wife, the report states.
