NORTHWEST ARKANSAS (KFSM)--School starts back up again within the next few weeks, and there's a newly formed organization, called the Village, that wants to help make the transition from summer to school a whole lot easier.

5NEWS Anchor Daren Bobb spoke with organizer Micah Dennis about the Fayetteville Back-To-School Fun Day for children in grades K through 8. The event will take place on August 6th from 1-6 p.m. at the University of Arkansas Union Hall.

There will be a live DJ, bounce houses and a dance party for children who participate.
