ALTUS (KFSM) — An effort by the Altus community celebrated its opening on Thursday (August 4) with a ribbon-cutting.
The City Fitness Center opened entirely due to volunteer work and donated equipment.
Mayor Veronica Post said the facility is free of charge, and she is looks forward to keeping it open all week to promote healthy fitness for all area residents.
The fitness center is located at 207 West Park St. along Highway 64 in downtown Altus.
