BENTONVILLE (KFSM) – The Benton County Fair wouldn’t close down though rain storms made their way through the region Tuesday (Aug. 9).
From amusement rides to friend food, every characteristic of a county fair was represented.
“My son here likes looking at the rides. We have been having fun looking around and checking everything out,” said James Breen, a fair attendee.
Breen said this was the first time his family attended a fair.
“We have never really lived in the Midwest, or south, before, so we’ve never really seen the animal shows," Breen said. "It is new to us.”
Some families stuck it through the light storms, to continue to make memories.
“We bring the grandkids out here, and they love doing the rides,” said event attendee Bill Meyers, an event attendee.
“It is kind of a tradition for us to bring the grand kids out every year,” Sue Meyers said.
