CUSHMAN, Ark. (KFSM) — Three Arkansas State University students that were reported missing on Thursday (Aug. 11), after they didn’t return from Blowing Cave in Cushman, Arkansas have been found.

The three were found safe and a medical team checked them for any possible injuries.

The three students all attend ASU, and two of them are foreign exchange students from Japan.

The search began at 1:45 a.m. Thursday morning, according to an Arkansas Department of Emergency Management press release.

Several rescue teams are explored the cave to search for the missing students.

The wife of the man leading the spelunking trip reported them missing Wednesday night, reported KTHV.

The names of the students are:

– Casey Sherwood
– Daiki Itoh
– Daisuke Takagi
