OZARK (KFSM) - The 2015 season started off with a bang for Ozark but turnovers and injuries derailed a promising season.

After notching just three wins, Ozark coach Jeremie Burns decided to give his program an overhaul and that included the uniforms and even down the decal on their helmet.

"We started out good last year," Burns said. "We had a few turnovers there and it just kind of went south after that and had a couple injuries. This year we're looking good. Same thing, if we start out hot I think we have a good chance."

Along with the new look Hillbillies, the 4A-4 has a new look and to get ready for the new campaign it all started in the weight room.

"The number one thing is getting stronger, faster and more endurance so we can last four quarters in the ball game so we can drag people out to deep water," Ozark senior lineman Hunter Jackson said.

"We've grown a lot," Ozark senior Triston Marvel said. "We've got a lot more muscle on this team, a lot more strength, a lot more determination and a lot more heart. I think we're going to be pretty successful this year."
