CAVE SPRINGS (KFSM) — Cave Springs Police Chief Joe Powell has been suspended, according to Mayor Travis Lee.
Lee said he received information regarding the conduct of Powell on Friday (Aug. 19).
“I am conducting an internal investigation regarding the information,” Lee said. “The chief is suspended with pay until the investigation is complete.”
Powell started as chief of police in December 2015.
The conduct of Powell is under investigation.
